The thermal expansion and chemical resistance properties of our ceramic compositions make them ideally suited to the rapid heat cycles and aggressive inks present in printing applications.
At MTC Stourport we have built considerable knowledge of how to best utilise high performance ceramics within printing and computing applications. Our engineers work closely with customers to ensure that solutions are always highly capable and also appropriate to the application in question.
The printing environment is extremely demanding requiring not only thermal properties but also resistance to chemical corrosion. It is by matching our range of Aluminas, or creating custom compositions for bespoke applications, that we are able to provide materials that offer the precise properties required in challenging environments.
We manufacture our high performance ceramics by utilising a range of techniques. Most frequently we use either ceramic injection moulding or dry pressing technology in order to create a product that delivers the precise tolerances needed in high quality printing applications. Capable of medium to high volume production, we can also deliver products on an extremely economical basis.
