RoHS Compliance
We are committed to meeting the legislation of RoHS directive (2005/95/EC).
Products supplied do not contain hazardous substances above the limits described by the directives 2005/95/EC and 2003/11/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 27th January 2003 and 6th February 2003 “on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substance in electrical and electronic equipment” (RoHS).
Our materials have been tested for Lead (Pb), Hexavalent, Chromium (CrVI), Mercury (Hg) and Cadmium (Cd) and comply with the limits for these substances. No polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) are used in any of our processes
Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)
The new EU chemicals policy REACH came into effect on June 1st 2007.
Our policy is to be fully compliant with REACH and to work closely with suppliers and customers to this end. We have now pre-registered all of the substances in the materials that we manufacture and import ourselves where we have an obligation to do so. We will keep you informed on the progress of the substances towards registration.
Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) – Approved Material
MTC Stourport hold WRAS approval for several materials that are commonly used in water management applications.
